About the role

Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton is seeking a compassionate Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join our Oncology Ward on a casual basis.

Education and training opportunities are available, as well as flexible shifts opportunities. However, candidates must be available across all shift types, including early, late, night, and weekend shifts.

Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton has been supporting the health of people living in and around Rockhampton for more than a century. Today, our 136-bed facility features five operating theatres, a private emergency service and a wide range of specialised clinical services.

Salary range: $35.93 + $38.13 per hour plus 25% casual loading, plus 11.5% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!

What you'll be doing

As an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse, you will provide patient-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse on duty. Core responsibilities include recognising the normal and abnormal assessment, intervention, and evaluation of patient health and functional status with ongoing communication with the Registered Nurse. Safe handling and administration of anticancer therapies, blood and blood products.
