Central QLD Hospital has an opportunity for a Clinical Director of Anaesthesia and High Dependency Unit (HDU). Bring your clinical leadership and anaesthesia expertise to where you can enjoy a great lifestyle on the gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef.

The hospital provides the full range of anaesthetic services including general and regional anaesthesia, obstetric services including epidural/spinal anaesthesia (750 births).

This is a 83-bed hospital and offers a range of general and specialist inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, general medicine and surgery, basic orthopaedic, clinical investigation, obstetrics, maternity, gynaecology, high dependency and coronary care, palliative care, medical imaging, pathology and paediatrics. Additional services include Mental Health, Alcohol and other Drugs Service, oral health, physiotherapy, dietetics, speech pathology and outreach/community-based facilities, as well as a Primary Health Care Centre located at Boyne Valley and the newly acquired West Wing (formerly Gladstone Mater) offering extended medical and surgical services inclusive of private specialist care. Gladstone Hospital has approximately 392 full time equivalent staff delivering services across acute, community and primary care.
